As International Women’s Day (IWD) approaches, it's a time to celebrate women's achievements and renew our commitment to equality. IWD has evolved into a global celebration of women’s progress and a call for inclusivity. Our mission at AwakenHub is to level up opportunity, access, and connectivity for women owned businesses throughout the Island of Ireland by removing barriers to investment, scale and success is very much aligned to this year’s theme for International Women’s Day #InspireInclusion. In a world where just over 2% of global investment goes to women-founded companies, it's crucial to change this landscape, eliminate barriers, and foster equity for women founders for future generations.

**We know our mission, so what have we done about it? As a bootstrapping startup, AwakenHub has achieved:**
3k organic subscribers, mainly women founders from Ireland North & South
Launched AwakenAngels, a women-led angel investment syndicate
Organise an annual St. Brigid’s Day Trade Mission to the USA
Hosted 90+ events, 4k+ Twitter followers, 110k website visits, and 3k LinkedIn followers
Established AwakenClub, an invitation-only community for women founders
On our third SheGenerate programme for early-stage women founders
Featured in the 2023 Rose Review Report and the Shared Island Report of 2022

Through initiatives such as our SheGenerate accelarator and Executive Entreprenrurial Coaching Programme, access to investor networks, and specialized workshops, we strive to level the playing field and provide women with the support they need to excel.
