AwakenHub & AwakenHub Reach New Heights in New York

We weren't sure anything could top the week we have just had with AwakenHub and AwakenAngels , but to spend our last night in the US literally on top of the world in the private residence of the British Consulate General in New York hosted by Stephanie Horsburgh was the perfect way to end our second Trade Mission.

6 of our 16 women founders pitched to a room full of VC's, investors, potential commercial and research partners and diaspora from the UK and Ireland interested in supporting women founders from the island of Ireland. The remaining 10 women founders had the opportunity to work the room via brokered introductions to relevant people with an opportunity for all of them to follow-up over the coming weeks and months.

Sincere thanks to Stephanie and the team at the British Consulate New York, Gareth Hargadon from the Consulate General of Ireland, New York for your proactive support and completely understanding and advocating for our mission to remove barriers to investment, scale and success for women.

Now that we are back on homeground we're going to digest what has happened over the 8 day long Trade Mission and look forward to sharing with you the impact it has and will have on the women founders from our community.

Huge thanks to everybody involved. We are already planning additional trips over the coming months and looking to next year.
