We are thrilled to announce that AwakenHub has been awarded grant funding from Ulster Bank Northern Ireland. As one of 4 awardees we really look forward to collaborating with Ulster Bank NI and the other beneficiaries as we all work to promote greater levels of entrepreneurship and socio-economic stability.

John Ferris, Regional Ecosystem Manager with Ulster Bank NI, said supporting projects like SheGenerate is key to tackling the imbalance female entrepreneurs continue to face when it comes to accessing funding. “At Ulster Bank NI we are committed to supporting female entrepreneurs and providing them with the tools and networks they need to start or scale a business. This partnership with AwakenHub has the potential to deliver transformative change for women and we are pleased to have been able to play a role in bringing female entrepreneurs even closer to potential investors through the Enterprise Partner Funding grant. We look forward to seeing the outcomes of the project and wish each of the participants well as they take the next step of their business journey.”

The grant awarded to us will allow AwakenHub to pilot our new SheGenerate programme with a cohort in Northern Ireland of very early stage, nascent or want-to-be women founders who have been inspired or impacted by Covid19 to embark on their founder journey.

SheGenerate Expressions of Interest form is now live and with the additional support of Rethink Ireland SED Fund it is open to women across the Island of Ireland as we work to changing the landscape for women founders into the future.
